My wife and I and our four children thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend break in Aviemore Lodge and would warmly recommend it to others. My wife and I and our four children thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend break in Aviemore Lodge and would warmly recommend it to others. The accommodation was ideal - pleasant, spacious and family friendly. At no distance from the Dalfaber Complex it was easy to make use of the facilities which were of course inclusive in the let arrangements. Organising the break could not have been easier thanks to your prompt and efficient manner which meant that everything went very smoothly – even when on the day of arrival I had to contact you having gone to the wrong house for the keys

House has excellent location & facilities. Garden is fully enclosed which is a comfort for dog owners.
Cairngorm Hotel has good food at affordable prices ( Buffet Night on a Thursday ) and the Italian Restaurant at the roundabout, when entering the Town, is worth a visit.
We’ve booked to return next year.

Cairngorm Hotel has good food at affordable prices ( Buffet Night on a Thursday ) and the Italian Restaurant at the roundabout, when entering the Town, is worth a visit.

We had a great stay once again in your very comfortable home. We would like to thoroughly recommend The Sled Dog Centre where you will get up close to the dogs who are very sociable (you will have to book this in advance you can not just turn up), also The Highland Heritage Centre at [...] [...more]
We had a great stay once again in your very comfortable home. We would like to thoroughly recommend The Sled Dog Centre where you will get up close to the dogs who are very sociable (you will have to book this in advance you can not just turn up), also The Highland Heritage Centre at Newtonmore to future guests. Also eateries - The Winking Owl ( on the main street)and The Tea Garden (Chinese) at the Rothiemurchas centre. Once again thank you very much for a a very comfortable stay at Heiland Hame.

Hi Peter, thanks for letting us stay in your lovely Heiland Hame House ! As you know we were in Aviemore for the Husky rally at Loch Morlich & had a fab time. My OH finished 6th in the 8 dog class out of 10 so was very pleased I have attached a photo although [...] [...more]
Hi Peter, thanks for letting us stay in your lovely Heiland Hame House ! As you know we were in Aviemore for the Husky rally at Loch Morlich & had a fab time. My OH finished 6th in the 8 dog class out of 10 so was very pleased I have attached a photo although it is a proof (naughty me ) hope you like it.
